Midweek Bible Study Romans 7:14-25, 8:1-4

Tonight we are looking at the last half of Romans 7 and the first 4 verses of Romans 8. Paul is still building his argument but is now bringing it all around for us to understand. By the end of chapter 7 I imagine Paul can barely hold his excitement. “Who will rescue me?” Jesus!! “Christ challenged and defeated sin on its own turf- in the human sphere- as a true human of flesh and blood.” William Greathouse. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2
