Midweek Bible Study Romans 9

Paul is talking to his community in Chapter 9, not those who he calls brothers and sisters in Christ but his kinship. He is explaining to them that Jesus really is the Messiah and our righteousness is through faith not works. Their belief must be through faith, not their lineage. Paul brings up this idea that we are lumps of clay and we have no right to tell the Creator what to do with creation. We need to be vessels of His mercy.
