The Resurrection of Jesus
The resurrection of Jesus gives us the opportunity to actually have Jesus in our hearts. If he was still in that tomb, there would be no way to have an ongoing, current relationship with him. Without a relationship with Jesus, there is no relationship with God.
He is inviting you in to that relationship today!

Jesus Leads Us To The Cross
Jesus’ Triumphal Entry was not just a celebration. It showed his obedience to march all the way to the cross.
Following after Jesus will force us to make a choice about which kingdom we will follow. Will we follow the kingdom of the world with our selfishness, pride, greed, power, and control? Or, will we allow God to show us how to live in His Kingdom, even here on Earth? This is a kingdom led by selflessness, generosity, meekness, and an others-first mentality.
Your actions, more than your words, will prove where you stand.

Devoted Worship
Mary, the sister of Lazarus, devoted herself fully to Jesus. Following and obeying Him, guided every thing she did. Her life is an example of true worship that we should all follow. Worship is something we do with every action we take. Make sure your worship reveals your devotement to Christ. Fall at His feet in awe and wonder!

The Greatest Father
Can you picture God walking around on his front porch looking out for his sons and daughters to come home? He is watching and waiting. He is so patient and as soon as he sees his child turn around, he will run to you!

A Response to Tragedy
God loves you. He wants the best for you. The tragedies and suffering in life are not caused by God, but they can and will be used by Him to make you more like Christ. In the face of suffering, examine your heart, repent of what separates you from God, and produce fruit in keeping with that repentance!

Live (and speak) Boldly!
Followers of Jesus Christ must live their lives in a way that pleases God. A big part of that is to be in relationship with people so that your life (and your words) spill into their lives. Be a Jesus Freak! Tell the people God has given you influence over how good He is!

Love the Wilderness
The first Sunday of Lent gives us the opportunity to reflect on the wilderness moments of life. When you feel like God is not there in the middle of the struggle, or you are unsure of what the next step should be, remember that God has never left you and Jesus wants to make your paths straight!
Don’t avoid the wilderness, grow in the wilderness!

Ash Wednesday Service
Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent, a six-week period during which we often abstain from rich foods such as meat and dairy.
Some who take part also abstain from everyday habits such as watching excessive amounts of television.
We take part in the annual abstinent period of Lent in order to commemorate Jesus Christ, who, according to a biblical narrative, once spent 40 days and nights fasting in the Judaean Desert while being tempted by Satan.

Navigating the rough seas of life
Life at times can be filled with harsh weather and the waves can seem too much to bear! God tells us countless times in the Bible to lean on Him for our strength. Will you lean on Him today?
