The Church in Sardis
Spiritual death leads to physical death of the church. In the US about 3,500 churches close every year! How many of those churches close because they are dead like Jesus calls the church in Sardis? Are we a church filled with people who come to church because we want to check it off our “to do” list for the week? Or do we come to church because we love Jesus and want to learn how to be more like Him? We need to wake up, repent, and listen to the Holy Spirit!

The Church in Thyatira
Do not tolerate the half-truths of the devil! He wants to keep you from fully experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit that is inside of you! We need to be honest with ourselves and repent when we recognize that we are in a season of not allowing God to transform us. Do not be afraid! Be victorious!

The Church in Pergamum
The Church in Pergamum had issues with idols, sex, indulgence, and selfishness. Their identities were found in the culture they created, rather than in Jesus.
The same things can happen to us today. The way we make sure to keep our identity in Christ is to stay in the Word and allowing God’s Word to take hold of our hearts.
Don’t fall away! Let God’s Word challenge you and change you into who He wants you to be!

The Church in Smyrna
Jesus tells the church in Smyrna, “Do not fear!” The same statement is for us today. Whatever you might be afraid of, Jesus knows your fear and still says to not be afraid! He is with you and walking alongside of you as the storms beat you up! Do not be afraid!

The Church in Ephesus
The church in Ephesus was a church that served well. But, they were losing their love of others. Jesus let them know that they needed to repent and keep going!
The same can be true for us today. Don’t let yourself lose your love for Jesus and His church! Continue to grow and serve and LOVE!

Introduction to Revelation
Jesus longs for our churches to be healthy, vibrant, and on fire for Him! In order to be that kind of church, we need to persevere through suffering, worship in faith, and serve Jesus’ church!
